[43] - Pressed Plants
Escaping into spring
March started off with blue sky, plenty of sun and temperature rising.
The end of March and it’s been cloudy non stop for over a week. Temperature has been a consistent 10 degrees, thus trees have bloomed, but no sun to put their beautiful flowers in spotlight. Anyhow, the humid weather has been ideal for sweet violets to grow, I see them everywhere, it’s a burst of sweet violets.
The trees still blooming are starting to grow their leaves. Usually this happens after the flowers are gone. Cons and pros for everything. However I can’t complain, the smell of flowers radiates at every corner: cherry blossoms, sweet violets, narcissus, hyacinth.
I’d like to pick every flower and take it home with me, and at the same time I don’t dare touch them, they look so pretty where they are. I’m just trying to describe these urges. Hope you can relate.
Bellow a few designs spring themed. From right to left:
Cherry blossom in the wind.
Sun radiating and providing nourishment.
Multitude of plants growing, digging their roots in the moist earth.

White cherry blossoms always reminds me of fluffy snow resting on the branches.
Blossoms, White an pure, very giving
I love how during spring things get a bit quieter somehow.
Just like snow, which sound proofs the atmosphere, i feel like the millions of petals do the same.
Everyone seems to walk a little slower, taking in the smell and the views. Drivers are not in such a hurry anymore.People put their headphones in their bags and pockets, listening to the spontaneous chirping all around instead.
Every face a little bit more smily at the sight of beauty, at the smell of nectar, at the sporadic bolts of warming light breaking through the never ending sea of clouds.
Imagine if u would be the wind You could blow through the tree, smell it all and leave it unscathed.
