{14} - Lines

Thought we are in the middle of autumn now, summer was a time of slowing down for me and I still have some thoughts I wanted to share, that came up during those months. This summer gave me yet again the time to ponder, to gather my thoughts and read from my long list of books exploring different subjects. As a matter of fact, I didn’t realise I had written down so many personal notes during the summer months, and some of these thoughts I’ll be sharing here. My discoveries/explorations are interwoven with my artistic expressions and the thoughts and lines that come out of all this are like ‘sparks’ for me.
As I am carving my new path here in the country of my birth
I believe there are people doing the same in other parts of the world and even in the harshest of conditions, oppression, programming.

With the sharpness of senses
With a drive deeper than can be expressed
With an interior beauty and magic out of the ordinary
A luxurious existence
That has nothing to do with money
Treasures found in the desert
Wisdom grown in the solitude of the soul. Bellow, another drawing out of the 6, I set myself as goal to complete this year. I still have 2 more until the end of the year. Finger crosses 🤞🏽
The idea was that for each panel the lines would move in a different direction. No other agenda. From there, going with the flow. Therefore:
Panel 1: Left → Right
Panel 2: Vertical
Panel 3: Horizontal
Panel 4: Right → Left
All four screens are interconnected by a few thicker lines. Like little windows you can peek through: some complex, some airy, peaceful, sensible; rhythmic like waves, like the sound, like the rain, like the wind.
